This is me.
I am a Christian; a Christ follower. What this mean…it doesn’t mean religion. It means I try to follow the leadership of Jesus.
I am a woman who was single for what seemed like eternity (ask any women who is over 30 and single). I am now a wife. I certainly do not have all the answers about marriage. I have worked professionally for some great companies as an instructional designer, corporate trainer, technical writer, software tester, technology support person.
I like to cook…my first true published work was in a cookbook for Southern Living. Other published works are technical manuals (woo hoo).
I am a sister, an aunt and hopefully in the near future a mom.
I have worked with churches in the capacity of Intercessory Prayer Administrator, Prayer leader, Intercessory Prayer Development, Adviser to Women’s Ministry, Women’s Ministry Leadership Team, Youth Worker, Media Administrator, Small Group Leader (for almost 5 years!),Mentoring Ministry Developer and whatever else I have been asked to do.
I have helped others to develop/write ministry materials (Truth of Twelve – Discipleship by Bishop Kenneth Phillips of The Promiseland). I have developed training materials for Prayer teams and small groups. I have written a book on Developing Intercessory Prayer Teams (I’ll link to it soon).
Does any of this qualify me to answer questions? No, not really. As a friend of mine in Mississippi says, “Eat the meat and spit out the bones” for those of you who do not speak “Mississippian” that means, take the advise that applies to you and disregard what doesn’t apply.
I am the self-proclaimed queen of resources. (lqtm – laughing quietly to myself). These means, if I don’t know the answer, hopefully I will be able to point you to a reliable resource.
