We highly HIGHLY recommend any VW car. Jetta's and Passat's are one of the safest cars on the road. VW's come standard with many safety features, that most manufacturers don't implement. If it weren't for my last Passat, my son and I would NOT be walking and healthy today. We were in a side impact collision that totaled my car, but left my then infant child and me alive and well, with only a few minor scrapes. As my car was towed away, undrive-able, I thanked God for his protection and that our VW crumped around us -- not into us. The side air bags, front airbags, and all other safety features, all worked in concert to keep up protected and in tact. It served it purpose and we walked away from a bad accident.
